Job summary

Reworld Projects, LLC is seeking a Regional Project Controls Manager to lead cost control and scheduling for large PMO outages and capital projects in our energy portfolio.

You will create and maintain detailed L3/L4 schedules, load budgets, track actuals, forecast at complete, and review contract payment terms with clients. Frequent travel to sites is required to audit costs and support regional planning and KPI dashboards.

Qualifications

• Experience in outage planning and cost tracking for power plant operations.
• Proven track record building cost loaded schedules and tracking outage costs.
• Experience onsite tracking of large complex outages for cost and schedule.
• Experience reporting outage performance to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Create and update large PMO project schedules L3 and L4.
• Budget load, track actuals and estimate at complete cost on large PMO outages.
• Review contractual payment terms with clients and develop schedule of payments; ensure invoices align with terms.
• Travel to sites to audit the costs and meet with project teams and vendors.
• Mentor and cross-train other team resources in scheduling and cost tracking.
• Indirect management and scoping of third-party resources (approximately 4-6 resources).
• Work with Project Managers, procurement, regional resources, and management to track vendor cost and cashflows.
• Update vendor installments based on progress of projects.
• Support the development of Primavera standard scopes of work for Boiler outages, Turbine/generator outages, and PMO projects.
• Support regional planning refreshes 2 times a year.
• Support preparation of regional monthly cost, schedule and cashflow reviews.
• Ensure project dashboard KPIs are complete accurately in accordance with the company’s calendar.
• Run team calls and meetings when necessary.
• Contribute to completing Post Outage Review summaries with improvement actions forward, best practices and lessons learned.
