Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Regional Program Specialist - Reserve to support Services to the Armed Forces (SAF) and International Services (IS) programs, including deployment to overseas locations for six-month assignments with remote training and in-person sessions.

You will manage volunteers, oversee emergency communications, coordinate travel and logistics, and liaise with installation leadership while upholding safety and security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, human resources management, community organization, social or health sciences, or related field is required.
• Minimum of five years of related program management experience.
• Current, valid driver's license with good driving record is required.
• Strong computer skills; public speaking and written/verbal communication are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Red Cross services to meet needs of US military members, veterans, and families.
• Manage SAF/IS programs, IHL, YAC, and RFL within the area of jurisdiction.
• Coordinate emergency communication messages and support services for military members and families.
• Maintain rosters, unit contacts, and case logs per mission guidelines.
• Support mobile deployments and readiness, including travel logistics.
