Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Regional Program Specialist - Reserve to support Services to the Armed Forces and International Services across overseas locations. You will manage volunteers, deploy emergency communications, and ensure high-quality program delivery for service members, veterans, and families.

This role requires six-month overseas deployments, medical and security clearances, and strict base policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, human resources management, community organization, social or health sciences, or related field is required.
• Minimum of five years related experience in program management.
• Experience with American Red Cross programs and services is strongly desired.
• Strong computer skills and ability to manage data and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate emergency communication casework for service members and families.
• Monitor service delivery outcomes and documentation for reporting.
• Build relationships with military leadership and installation partners.
• Recruit, onboard, train, supervise, and recognize volunteers.
• Coordinate educational briefings, workshops, and events supporting SAF/IS.
• Maintain deployment readiness and support mobile team operations.
