Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a highly adaptable Regional Program Specialist - Reserve to support Services to the Armed Forces (SAF) programs overseas. This role requires deployment to U.S.

military installations in challenging environments for six months, with remote training and mandatory security clearances. You will manage SAF/IS programs, supervise volunteers, coordinate emergency communication casework, and build partnerships with military leadership while living on base and upholding

Qualifications

• Requires strong computer skills and ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
• Public speaking and strong interpersonal skills are essential for stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with military culture, regulations, and protocol is strongly desired.
• Experience with American Red Cross programs and services is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer the delivery of Red Cross services to meet military members and their families.
• Oversee SAF/IS programs, IHL, YAC and RFL within area of jurisdiction.
• Supervise volunteers and coordinate with Red Cross departments.
• Coordinate educational briefings, community workshops, and special events.
• Provide family support services including wellness check-ins and emergency communications.
