Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Regional Program Specialist - Reserve to support Services to the Armed Forces (SAF) and International Services (IS) programs. This role involves deploying to overseas locations for roughly 6 months, with remote training and mandatory pay.

The candidate will manage emergency communications, volunteer coordination, and program reporting while adhering to military rules and Red Cross policies.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in business or public admin, HR, community org, social/health sciences, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in program management or related field.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate emergency communications and casework for SAF/IS members and families.
• Manage program reporting, trends and improvements with leadership.
• Build relationships with military leadership and installation partners.
• Recruit, mentor and manage volunteers across SAF/IS and related programs.
• Oversee service delivery and deployment readiness for mobile staff.
• Meet security and medical clearances and support 6‑month deployments overseas.
