Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Preconstruction Manager in the United States (Boston area) to act as the owners representative during the preconstruction phase. You will independently manage cross-functional industrial projects from site selection through design completion, permitting, and contract execution across your region, supporting Amazons logistics network infrastructure.

Travel up to 60% is required, with relocation options to corporate offices.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of project management experience.
Travel up to 60% (Nationwide). Drive to sites.
Experience with packaging, processing, or logistical facilities.

Responsibilities

Independently manage cross-functional industrial preconstruction projects from site selection through design completion, permitting, and contract execution.
Lead site selection, validation, scope development, and design management per Amazon standards.
Manage multiple concurrent large industrial projects across locations.
Drive timely decisions and remove blockers to keep projects on track.
Assess PKIs for safety, quality, cost, schedule, and sustainability.
Prepare and present project status and risk reports to leadership.
