Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to develop and maintain favorable relationships with current and potential customers, driving sales of our precast concrete products across Florida.

The role reports to the Sales Manager and requires travel (approximately 50%+), collaboration with engineering and production teams, and execution of strategic sales plans to meet or exceed regional targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years in civil infrastructure construction, precast concrete manufacturing sales, or similar product sales.
• Ability to travel 50%+ across the sales region.
• Ability to read and interpret civil and engineering drawings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Sell and market precast concrete products to contractors, utilities, and municipalities.
• Prospect opportunities and target companies within core markets.
• Identify and bid projects and develop bid strategy for each job.
• Utilize software to manage prospects, issue quotes, and communicate with the team.
• Support the Area Sales Manager in achieving sales goals and profitability.
• Develop relationships with the engineering community to influence specs.
• Meet specific sales volumes and margin goals.
• Coordinate with Quality, Production, Operations, Transportation and Accounting for superior service.
• Communicate with the broader sales team to manage cross-boundary opportunities.
• Engage in industry associations to build networks and business relationships.
