Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Florida. You will develop and maintain favorable relationships with current and potential customers, including civil contractors, utility companies, and municipalities, to grow the precast concrete products business.

The role requires prospecting new opportunities, evaluating bids, and coordinating with engineering, production, and other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years in civil infrastructure construction, precast concrete manufacturing sales, or similar product sales.
• Knowledge of current and future industry trends with strong business acumen.
• Ability to read and interpret civil design drawings and engineering production drawings.
• Willingness to travel approx. 50%+ across the sales region.
• Ability to work independently within territory to achieve goals.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• Self-driven, proactive and results-oriented.
• Experience with technical sales to engineers and specifying agencies is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Sell and promote Oldcastle Infrastructure precast concrete products to civil contractors, utilities, and municipalities.
• Prospect opportunities and companies within core markets.
• Identify and bid projects; assist in bid strategy development.
• Use software tools to manage prospects, issue quotes, and coordinate with the team.
• Support Area Sales Manager to meet sales goals and profitability in key markets.
• Develop relationships within the engineering community to specify products.
• Meet sales volumes and profit margin goals.
• Coordinate with Quality Control, Production, Operations, Transportation, and Accounting for service.
• Collaborate with the broader sales team to manage overlaps and portfolio.
• Participate in industry associations to build networking and relationships.
