Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Recruiter focused on Pharmacist talent to connect qualified pharmacists with opportunities across a defined geographic region in the United States. You will partner with hiring leaders to tailor sourcing strategies, engage both active and passive candidates, and guide candidates through a high-quality recruiting experience from first conversation to offer.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of related experience.
• At least 1 year applying talent acquisition assessment practices to moderately complex hiring needs.
• At least 1 year of experience working with basic business goals, financial concepts, or key performance measures
• At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Travel may be required up to 10%
• Experience recruiting pharmacists or healthcare professionals (preferred)
• Experience managing recruiting activity across multiple locations or a defined geographic region (preferred)
• Experience developing proactive sourcing strategies and talent pipelines (preferred)
• Experience engaging passive candidates and building long-term talent relationships (preferred)
• Experience partnering with hiring leaders to understand local hiring needs and develop market-specific recruiting strategies (preferred)
• Experience using applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Clarifies position requirements with hiring partners.
• Develops sourcing plans for assigned vacancies.
• Screens applicants against job-related criteria.
• Guides interviewers on consistent candidate evaluation.
• Addresses obstacles in assigned candidate pipelines within established recruitment guidelines.
• Escalates potential risks in hiring practices that require policy interpretation.
• Uses recruitment metrics to refine search approaches.
