Job summary

ProMach’s Bartelt Packaging and Matrix Packaging Machinery seek an experienced Regional Sales Manager to grow a key territory in the Western/Northwest region. You will build customer relationships, craft strategic sales plans, and collaborate with engineering for project solutions.

The role requires 60-70% travel within the territory, a four-year degree, and strong technical sales capabilities. Competitive compensation includes base salary plus commission and full benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in capital equipment or packaging sales.
• Direct sales with domestic CPG companies.
• Four-year degree preferred in Sales/Engineering/Business.
• Mechanical aptitude for packaging automation.
• Strong technical sales and presentation skills.
• Self-starter with closing ability and prospecting drive.
• Excellent business, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; CRM experience.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and industrial line layout preferred.
• CRM proficiency required.
• Willingness to travel 60-70% within territory.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts at all levels.
• Develop sales strategies and value-based solutions with end users.
• Utilize sales tools for presentations, calls, and prospecting.
• Create territory schedules for client visits and prospecting.
• Coordinate with engineering to develop project solutions with strong value.
• Ensure accurate collection of project details for quotes.
• Partner with project management for smooth order handoffs.
• Maintain high ethics and integrity in all dealings.
• Meet or exceed sales forecasts and quotas.
• Document Opportunities, Companies, Contacts, and Interactions in Salesforce.
