Orkin is seeking an Operations Manager / People Leader to guide a branch into high performance, delivering world-class pest management services. You will lead a team, manage revenue, and partner with senior leadership on growth strategies.

Expect 25% field travel, relocation within division, and a comprehensive benefits package. This role lays the groundwork for regional leadership opportunities within a trusted 120-year-old industry leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent work experience.
• Documented success driving revenue for a Home Services company.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within 90 days (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.
• 5–7 years: Multi-operational or sales management experience with a results-driven company.
• 5–7 years: P&L responsibility experience and expense control strategies.
• 5–7 years: Demonstrated customer relations experience.
• 5–7 years: Experience with P&L management and business processes.
• 5–7 years: Operations or sales management experience with a results-driven company.
• 5–7 years: Proven ability to achieve profitable growth.
• 5–7 years: Mentoring, coaching, motivating and training.

Responsibilities

• Assume leadership of a branch location after completing an initial 90 days of training.
• Be willing to travel in the field for branch office visits 25% of the time.
• Be able to relocate within the division geography for higher roles.
• Inspire your team to deliver top-notch service, accept feedback and improve.
• Drive revenue generation and growth, motivate the team through daily check-ins and accountability.
• Showcase operational skills, manage a P&L and invest in growth while balancing margins.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Ensure accountability for company vehicles policies and procedures.
• Recruit, hire, mentor, evaluate and coach.
• Drive sales initiatives and results, identify cost savings and service improvements.
• Collaborate with Senior Leadership and HR on hiring, promotions and succession.
• Promote positive employee relations and uphold operating standards.
• Maintain technical knowledge in pest, termite, sales and operations management.
