Job summary

Orkin is seeking an Operations Manager / People Leader to architect a high-performing team delivering world-class pest management services. You will lead a branch with 90 days of training, travel 25% for visits, and relocate within the division geography for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5-7 years of multi-operational or sales management experience.
• 5-7 years of P&L responsibility and expense control.
• Proven customer relations experience.
• Experience with P&L management and business processes.
• 5-7 years in a results-driven operations or sales role.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within first 90 days (company paid).

Responsibilities

• Lead a branch location after an initial 90 days of training.
• Travel to branch offices about 25% of the time.
• Relocate within the division geography for higher roles.
• Inspire the team to deliver top-notch service and continual improvement.
• Drive revenue growth and motivate the team with daily check-ins and accountability.
• Manage P&L and strategically invest in growth while balancing margins.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and company policies.
• Recruit, hire, mentor, evaluate and coach staff.
• Drive sales initiatives and results.
• Identify cost savings and service improvements.
• Collaborate with Senior Leadership and HR on hiring, promotions, succession planning and performance decisions.
• Promote positive employee relations and uphold operating standards.
• Maintain technical knowledge of pest, termite, sales and operational management.
