Job summary

BD Lab Diagnostics is seeking a sales professional in Maryland to communicate strategic direction, learn molecular offerings, and drive demand across the regional market. You will work with local teams to identify and close new accounts and deliver on the sales plan.

You will develop regional plans, call on customers, present economic models, and participate in cross-functional product launches while traveling 60-75% and adhering to BD policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1+ years of inside/outside sales or clinical experience required.
• Must be self-motivated to succeed and master the complex sales process.
• Computer proficiency including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of US healthcare trends for regional sales strategies.
• Strong organizational and territory management skills.
• Travel 60-75%.

Responsibilities

• Communicate BD’s long-term strategic direction to customers.
• Learn and become competent in BD’s Molecular offerings to drive demand.
• Close new accounts and meet or exceed sales plans.
• Develop regional and strategic account sales plans with teams.
• Call on prospective customers and prepare economic quotes.
