Job summary

3M is seeking a Key Account Regional Distribution Leader to drive growth and execution across national distribution partners and strategic accounts. You will develop key customer relationships, align cross-functional resources, and ensure steady progress of contracts and growth initiatives across regions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with distributor leadership, field sales, and internal teams, with remote work and substantial travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
Two years of direct sales experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
Current, valid Driver’s License.
Four years of sales, key account management, distribution, channel management, or business development experience.
Experience managing strategic customer or distribution relationships across locations/regions.
Experience with pricing, profitability, contracts, and business planning.
Experience conducting business reviews and presenting recommendations to leadership.
Proficiency with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Excel, and data-driven selling tools.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management.
Ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Support National Key Account Managers in executing strategic business plans for assigned national accounts and distribution partners.
Drive sales growth, market share expansion, and product conversion opportunities across multiple regions.
Build and strengthen relationships with stakeholders at national, regional, and local levels.
Execute national agreements, contracts, pricing programs, RFQs, and promotional initiatives.
Conduct business reviews to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and align growth strategies.
Partner with field sales, marketing, customer service, supply chain, and finance teams to support customer objectives.
Leverage analytics and customer insights to drive business planning, profitability, and strategy.
Deliver training, marketing, merchandising, and demand-generation programs to enhance engagement.
Serve as the primary field liaison supporting national account initiatives and execution.
