Job summary

3M seeks a Regional Distribution Leader to drive performance across distributor accounts valued at $40M+. You will shape direction, prioritize results, and define opportunities to meet sales and growth goals.

You’ll build trust with partners and execute Joint Business Plans while managing incentives and CRM workflows. Responsibilities span contract and field sales, planning, prospecting, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, operations, and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher completed and verified prior to start.
• Three (3) years of customer service, account management, outside or inside sales, or channel/distributor partner experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• Current, valid Driver’s License
• Experience using Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms to manage customer information, sales activity, reporting, and pipeline visibility

Responsibilities

• Lead as the Regional Distribution Leader for assigned distributor partner accounts worth $40M+
• Determine direction and priorities with full accountability for results for assigned distributor partner accounts
• Identify and define market/product opportunities to meet sales and growth objectives, i.e. category management and shelf conversion
• Build strong distributor partners, customer relationships and trust
• Build and execute Joint Business Plan with channel partners
• Manage Customer Incentive Plan and process with channel partners
• Manage cross-sell, churn, NPIs, sales targets for territory within the sales function, including contract sales, field sales, sales support, sales reporting, business intelligence, customer relationship management, territory planning/mapping/forecasting, sales prospecting, sales rep issue resolution, sales and SPA inquiries, sample orders, order expedites, and CRM entries
