Job summary

The 20 MSP is seeking a Regional Service Technician to diagnose and resolve issues across workstations, devices, networks, and software, both onsite and remotely. You will serve as a critical contact for customers, performing hardware repairs, OS installs, security tasks, and data backups.

Ideal candidates have hands-on hardware experience, strong Windows OS knowledge, and networking basics, with certifications such as A+, Net+, Sec+, or equivalent experience. California local travel required.

Qualifications

• Experience with hardware assembly, maintenance, repair.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and major software suites.
• Familiarity with antivirus, security and firewall technologies.
• Working knowledge of AD, Group Policy, file sharing, and server apps (Exchange, MS Server).
• Solid troubleshooting across OS, hardware, and network issues, including malware removal.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and resolve issues with workstations, devices, OS, software, hardware and basic servers.
• Provide onsite and remote customer support with proper documentation and follow-up.
• Prioritize and resolve tickets following SOPs and KBs, meeting KPI goals.
• Troubleshoot issues including desktop problems, VPN connectivity, hardware failures, and server functions.
• Perform hardware repair, maintenance, and security tasks, including cleaning and component replacement.
• Install, configure, and repair software including OS, antivirus and office suites.
• Back up data and perform system restores as needed.
• Test solutions for accuracy and document work; provide health recommendations.
