Job summary

The 20 LLC, a premier MSP, seeks a Regional Service Technician to deliver hands-on technical support for client environments across the Philadelphia metro area. This role combines onsite and remote service, hardware repair, OS/configuration tasks, and proactive system health checks.

Ideal candidates bring strong Windows, malware removal, and networking know-how, plus a valid driver’s license for travel to local client sites.

Qualifications

• Practical experience with hardware assembly/disassembly and repair.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS installation, recovery, updates, and major software suites.
• Familiarity with antivirus, security, and firewall technologies including installation and recovery.
• Working knowledge of business networking including AD, Group Policy, file sharing and server applications.
• Solid troubleshooting across OS, hardware and network issues including malware removal.
• Ability to identify and diagnose failed hardware components.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve technical issues involving workstations, mobile devices, OS, software, hardware, peripherals, and entry-level server support.
• Provide customer support onsite and remotely using connection software with thorough documentation and follow-up.
• Prioritize and resolve tickets following SOPs and KB articles to meet KPI goals.
• Troubleshoot issues including desktop problems, VPN connectivity, hardware failures, and line-of-business applications.
• Perform hardware repair, maintenance, and security tasks from cleaning to component replacement and diagnostics.
• Install, configure, and repair software including OS, antivirus, security tools, and office suites.
• Back up data and perform system restores as needed to maintain functionality.
• Test solutions for accuracy and document work, providing recommendations for ongoing system health.
