AdaptHealth LLC seeks an Intake Manager to oversee regional intake processes, coordinating with departments to improve efficiency and referral handling. You will manage staff, ensure timely, accurate entry of medical documentation, and drive patient financial responsibility efforts.

The role requires training staff to meet standards, resolving root causes, and maintaining HIPAA compliance while collaborating across service lines to achieve department goals.

Competenze

• Associate degree or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three or more years of healthcare admin, financial, insurance, customer service, claims, billing, call center or management experience.
• Two years of HME claims experience is preferred.
• Experience in Medicare-certified environments with insurance billing is advantageous.

Mansioni

• Oversight of Intake staff and processes.
• Identify and fix root cause issues in referral workflows.
• Manage intake/retail/confirmation or routing functions as needed.
• Handle referral processing across service lines and collect necessary documentation.
• Coach staff, conduct performance evaluations, and enforce standards.
• Ensure timely collection of patient financial responsibility.
• Promote cross-department collaboration to meet company goals.
• Ensure phones and emails are answered promptly; maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain SOPs and support patient experience targets; support after-hours on-call duties.
