You’ll work closely with patients, providers, referral sources, and internal teams to navigate insurance requirements and confirm eligibility.

Qualifications

• One year of relatable work experience required.
• High School Diploma or Associate’s degree in healthcare admin or related field.
• Experience in admin, clerical, insurance, billing, claims, call center or customer service preferred.
• Experience in healthcare organizations is a plus.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and navigate multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records, payer guidelines and eligibility prior to service delivery.
• Coordinate referrals and enter data in electronic systems within established timelines.
• Communicate with patients about financial responsibilities and collect payments when applicable.
• Work with referral sources, physicians and clinical teams to obtain complete documentation.
• Support onboarding of patients and ensure services are set up accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in on-call rotation as needed and adhere to policies and procedures.
