Socket.dev is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee a large portfolio of affordable housing communities, including supervision of an Assistant Regional Manager. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance (HUD, Section 8, LIHTC) and strong financial oversight to maximize performance and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of multi-site management experience in Section 8 and Tax Credit properties.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and compliance analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of multiple affordable housing communities in the region.
• Ensure compliance with HUD, Section 8, LIHTC and related regulations.
• Monitor occupancy, financial performance, and budget targets.
• Conduct site visits and audits of property conditions and team performance.
• Support and train property managers and leasing staff on compliance and service.
• Assist in annual budget preparation.
