Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Regional Manager for Affordable Housing to oversee the operations of various housing communities. The ideal candidate will manage all key phases including personnel, leasing, financials, and compliance with fair housing laws.

Applicants should have affordable housing experience, leadership skills, and ideally a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. The position requires effective communication with residents and staff, and may involve 25-50% travel annually.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience as a Regional Manager.
• Effective in dealing with resident complaints and concerns.
• Ability to develop and implement resident retention programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of affordable housing community portfolio.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and monitor inspections.
• Develop yearly marketing plan and leasing strategies.

Skills

Affordable housing experience including LIHTC

Leadership and training abilities

Understanding of Fair Housing Laws

Basic computer skills

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM)
