Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Regional Manager, Affordable Housing to lead the operations of a diverse portfolio nationwide. This role focuses on affordable housing programs, regulatory compliance, leasing, and staff leadership across multiple communities.

You will oversee budgeting, reporting, and liaison with regulators while ensuring LIHTC/Section 8 compliance and an exceptional resident experience. Travel required.

Qualifications

• Affordable housing experience including LIHTC.
• Prior experience as a Regional Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School Diploma or Equivalent; housing industry experience encouraged.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate on-site software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of a housing community portfolio.
• Manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, financials, administration & risk.
• Ensure compliance with Equal Housing Opportunity and LIHTC/Section 8 policies.
• Develop annual operating budgets and financial reporting.
• Travel 25–50% of time to properties and meetings.
• Lead strategic leasing, resident retention, and customer service.
