Regional Housing Operations Leader

Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Regional Manager to oversee a portfolio of housing communities. You will supervise on-site staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and financial performance, and ensure compliance with policy and safety standards.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong communication with property teams, and accountability for NOI improvements across the sites. Washington-based position with meaningful travel and collaboration with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred
• Ability to understand and perform all on‑site software functions; basic computer skills required
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements

Responsibilities

• Oversee personnel management and staff development, hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluations
• Monitor financials including budgets, income, expenses, and capital improvements
• Develop yearly marketing plans and leasing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines
• Manage administrative and maintenance activities, reporting, and vendor relations
• Travel 25-50% annually for property visits, meetings, and training

Education
