Job summary

Sysmex America, Inc. is seeking a Regional Field Service Technician based in Weston, FL. You will train to become a Service Engineer, traveling up to 75%+ across the U.S.

while installing, maintaining, and repairing Sysmex instruments. This role offers a clear path from technician to SE with mentoring and structured training. The position requires an associates degree or 0-3 years in biomedical engineering or electronics, valid driver's license, and willingness to relocate within U.S.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 0-3 years in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics or CLS; Bachelor's preferred.
• Electronics and/or laboratory science background.
• Sysmex instrument training completion.
• Valid driver's license; willing to relocate across U.S.
• Willing to travel up to 75%+; strong English communication.
• Proficient in Windows; basic LIS interfacing knowledge.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly; strong listening skills.
• Team oriented with facilitation and presentation skills.
• Maintain performance under pressure; energetic and positive.
• Excellent English skills; second language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete training to perform Field Service Technician duties.
• Travel with mentor during training; support service tasks.
• Provide service support in designated districts after training.
• Travel during training up to 50%; relocate as needed.
• Move into SE or related position after program completion.
• Install, maintain, and repair Sysmex instruments and systems.
• Document service activities; manage inventory and records.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure customer resolution.
• Promote communication and teamwork across Sysmex staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
