Job summary

Sysmex America, Inc. seeks a Regional Field Service Technician in Seattle, WA. The role trains you to service Sysmex instruments, with a clear pathway to a Service Engineer position. During training you may travel nationwide and relocate as needed.

Expect up to 50% travel during training, with the eventual responsibility of on-site support, installation, maintenance, and repair across U.S. territories. A strong foundation in biomedical engineering or electronics is valued.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 0-3 years of experience in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or Clinical Laboratory Science; may include Armed Forces experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one within 90 days.
• Willingness to relocate to any service district in the U.S.
• General computer knowledge in a Windows environment; LIS systems knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Complete training to perform the duties of a Field Service Technician (FST).
• Travel within service districts during the training period to work with a mentor or assist with service tasks.
• Provide service support in respective service districts upon completion of training.
• Travel during training period up to 50% within the United States.
• Promote moving into SE or related positions after successful training.
