Job summary

Phoenix Contact USA is seeking an Account Development Specialist (End-User) to drive sales among end-user customers and regional engineering firms in Ohio, Kentucky, and Western Tennessee. You’ll build relationships, generate leads, and support proposals while coordinating with the Channel and Field Application Engineering teams.

This role emphasizes outbound outreach, technical knowledge, and strong communication to meet quotas.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of sales experience in electronics or industrial automation.
• Technical discipline preferred.
• Experience with distribution channels preferred.
• Comfortable with cold outreach via calls and emails.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed territory sales quotas.
• Generate leads through cold calls and emails.
• Maintain and update CRM with client information.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and sales materials.
• Deliver product demonstrations and applications of Phoenix Contact products.
• Travel as required within territory (up to 35–40%).
• Collaborate with regional teams to align sales efforts.
