Job summary

Phoenix Contact seeks an Account Development Specialist (End-User) to drive engagement with end-user customers and regional engineering firms across Ohio, Kentucky, and Western Tennessee. You will identify, contact, and nurture opportunities, present solutions, and help move accounts toward standing up with Sales Engineers.

This is an individual contributor role focused on building relationships and achieving revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years minimum sales experience in electronics or industrial automation & controls.
• Experience working with distribution preferred.
• Comfortable making cold calls and sending outreach emails.
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed territory sales quotas.
• Be proficient in BASE selling skills and build relationships.
• Generate leads through cold calls, emails, and networking events.
• Support proposals, presentations, and sales materials.
• Maintain and update CRM with accurate client information.
