Komatsu seeks an Regional EHS Manager based in Elko, NV to lead environmental, health, and safety programs across multiple sites. You will be the primary EHS authority, driving compliance, risk mitigation, and a culture of safety while partnering with operations and HR.

You will mentor EHS staff, conduct investigations, and oversee audits, training, and contractor safety, with a relocation bonus to assist relocation for the right candidate.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a safety/environmental field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in EHS management within mining/heavy equipment/construction.
• 3+ years leading EHS across multiple sites or business units.
• Extensive knowledge of MSHA regulations and mining safety standards.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% in the Elko region and surroundings.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs aligned with MSHA, OSHA, EPA, and DOT requirements.
• Partner with regional leadership to embed EHS in planning and decisions.
• Lead site inspections, hazard identifications, audits, and corrective actions.
• Conduct thorough incident investigations and implement preventive measures.
• Design and deliver role-specific EHS training for supervisors, technicians, and contractors.
• Manage contractor safety compliance and foster collaborative relationships.
• Coordinate with HR on wellness, workers' comp, and return-to-work programs.
• Oversee environmental compliance for hazardous materials, waste, and spill response.
• Provide expertise in occupational health, industrial hygiene, and ergonomics.
• Lead emergency preparedness and business continuity across sites.
• Coordinate internal and external EHS audits and respond to findings.
