Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a Regional EHS Manager based in Elko, NV to lead and advance Environmental, Health, and Safety programs across mining and service sites. The role balances strategic leadership with field presence, mentoring EHS staff and driving continuous safety improvements.

The ideal candidate will relocate to Elko, coordinate with regional leadership, manage audits, investigations, and training, and support wellness, environmental compliance, and business continuity initiatives.

Qualifications

Relocation to Elko, NV is required or eligible.
Willingness to travel up to 20% within the region.
Strong knowledge of MSHA regulations and mining safety practices.
Proven capability to conduct incident investigations and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs across multiple sites in the Elko region.
Partner with regional/site leadership to integrate EHS into operations and planning.
Oversee risk assessments, audits, and corrective actions to ensure compliance.
Lead incident investigations and drive preventive measures and lessons learned.
Design and deliver role-specific EHS training for supervisors, technicians, and contractors.
