Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a Regional EHS Manager based in Elko, NV to lead environmental, health, and safety programs for multiple mining and service sites. You will be the primary EHS authority, driving compliance with MSHA/OSHA/EPA/DOT while integrating safety as a core business value and mentoring site teams.

This role requires strategic field leadership, strong stakeholder relations, and the ability to manage audits, training, incident investigations, and contractor safety across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Risk Management, or closely related field, or equivalent professional experience in EHS roles.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in EHS management within mining, heavy equipment manufacturing, or construction.
• 3+ years of leadership experience overseeing EHS programs across multiple sites or business units.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs meeting MSHA, OSHA, EPA, and DOT requirements.
• Partner with regional/site leadership to embed EHS into planning and decision-making processes.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement preventive measures.
