Job summary

Kimmel & Associates Inc. is seeking a Director of Branch Operations to lead across a regional network of branches, driving profitability, productivity, and superior service.

You will oversee branch managers, set budgets, and champion initiatives that improve operations and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings extensive heavy equipment leadership, deep Caterpillar parts and service knowledge, and a track record of building leaders, improving safety, and delivering measurable business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7+ years Caterpillar parts and service experience or 15+ years in heavy equipment.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience leading managers and leaders.
• Strong knowledge of Caterpillar equipment, systems, components, and service requirements.
• Experience managing regional operations and achieving financial/objective metrics.
• Experience with budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans.
• Understanding of parts and service financials including gross profit and expenses.
• Experience with lean principles and change management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across a regional network of branches.
• Oversee branch managers and supporting teams; set performance objectives.
• Manage budgets and forecasts; implement profitability and efficiency initiatives.
• Execute the organization's construction equipment strategy and strengthen customer relationships.
• Develop future leaders within the region and drive safety and continuous improvement.
