Kimmel & Associates Inc. is seeking a Director of Branch Operations to lead a regional network of branches, overseeing financial performance, productivity, and the effectiveness of parts and service operations.

You will report to senior leadership, manage branch managers and teams, set objectives, budgets, and forecasts to drive profitability and growth. The ideal candidate has extensive heavy equipment leadership, strong financial acumen, and a proven ability to develop leaders while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university preferred.
• 7+ years of direct Caterpillar parts and service experience or 15+ years in the heavy equipment industry.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience, including leading managers and other leaders.
• Strong working knowledge of Caterpillar equipment, machine systems, components, and service requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage regional operations, improve productivity, and achieve financial and operational performance objectives.
• Experience developing and managing annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term business plans.
• Strong understanding of parts and service financial performance, including gross profit, expenses, and pretax earnings.
• Ability to evaluate operational metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and implement effective business strategies.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, lean principles, and change management practices preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop branch management teams, establish performance standards, and support employee development.
• Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships, resolve service-related issues, and deliver value-driven solutions.
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and relevant equipment dealership management, service, diagnostic, and reporting systems.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and maintain productive relationships with equipment manufacturers and other business partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across a regional network of branches, with responsibility for financial performance, productivity, customer satisfaction, and the effectiveness of parts and service operations.
• Oversee branch managers and supporting teams, establish performance objectives, manage budgets and forecasts, and implement initiatives that improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Play a key role in executing the organization's construction equipment strategy, strengthening customer relationships, and developing future leaders throughout the region.
• Lead through others, drive measurable business results, and foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service.
