Job summary

Kimmel & Associates Inc. seeks a Director of Branch Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership across a regional network of branches, overseeing financial performance, productivity, customer satisfaction, and the effectiveness of parts and service operations.

Reporting to senior leadership, this role will manage branch managers, establish performance objectives, budgets/forecasts, and implement initiatives that improve profitability and operational efficiency while developing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of direct Caterpillar parts and service experience or 15+ years in heavy equipment.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Caterpillar equipment, systems, components, and service requirements.
• Experience managing regional operations, improving productivity, and meeting financial/operational targets.
• Experience with budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans.
• Understanding of parts and service financial performance including gross profit, expenses, and pretax earnings.
• Ability to evaluate metrics, identify improvements, and implement strategies.
• Experience with lean and change-management practices.
