Job summary

Kimmel & Associates Inc. is seeking a Director of Branch Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership across a regional network of branches, accountable for financial performance, productivity, customer satisfaction, and the effectiveness of parts and service operations.

Reporting to senior leadership, the role oversees branch managers, manages budgets and forecasts, and drives initiatives that improve profitability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7+ years Caterpillar parts and service experience or 15+ years in heavy equipment.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Caterpillar equipment and service requirements.
• Proven ability to manage regional operations and budgets.
• Experience developing budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans.
• Understanding of gross profit, expenses, and pretax earnings.
• Ability to improve operations via metrics and change.
• Lean principles and continuous improvement experience.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Develop branch management teams and drive employee development.
• Build customer relationships and deliver value-driven solutions.
• Advanced computer skills and dealership management, service, diagnostic, and reporting systems.
• Collaborate across departments with manufacturers and partners.
