Job summary

Workday, Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Director, Platform for Medium Enterprise Diversified Industries. The role focuses on selling platform, data, analytics, AI, and extensibility solutions to CIO/CTO-level buyers, guiding a specialized sales team through multi-stakeholder deals.

You will coordinate with pre-sales, value management, bid management, and sales support to close $500K+ ARR platform opportunities, and drive joint go-to-market with cloud hyperscalers and GSIs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience selling cloud/SaaS/ERP/analytics solutions, with a focus on complex platform, enterprise data, or AI/analytics solutions to CIO/CTO offices.
• 8+ years experience managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with track record of revenue/quota attainment.
• 5+ years experience leading a field sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor a field sales team of specialized Account Executives.
• Drive complex platform sales cycles ($500K+ ARR) with cross-functional orchestration.
• Oversee SOWs and 1–3 year technology roadmaps for the team.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and business modeling for senior leadership.
• Coordinate co-selling with cloud hyperscalers (AWS, GCP) and GSIs.
