Job summary

Astound is seeking a Manager, Regional Direct Sales to lead a team of Direct Sales Representatives across Austin and surrounding Texas markets. This hybrid role combines field leadership with in-office collaboration to drive new customer acquisition and reinforce our cable broadband offerings.

You will coach reps, monitor performance against monthly targets, manage budgeted headcount, and partner with recruiting to secure talent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in management.
• Basic knowledge of telecommunications direct sales.
• Knowledge of the cable industry and local markets.
• Proven track record of delivering above-target sales performance.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of a team of Direct Sales Representatives.
• Focus on single-family door-to-door prospecting and multi-dwelling unit relationships.
• Provide regular updates via weekly team meetings and bi-weekly target reviews.
• Conduct one-on-one coaching and field ride-alongs to drive performance.
• Collaborate regionally to develop sales incentives and recognition programs.
• Maintain headcount budgets and work with recruiting to hire candidates.
