Job summary

Astound is seeking a hands-on sales leader in Oregon to guide a Direct Sales team targeting Single Family and Multi-Dwelling units. You will coach field reps, manage relationships with property managers, and align incentives with regional targets.

The role combines office and field work in a hybrid setup, with a base salary of $75,000 plus commission potential and benefits. Strong leadership and telecom sales knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: College degree or high school diploma; equivalent combination of education and sales experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in management.
• Basic knowledge and aptitude of telecommunications Direct Sales or other face to face sales.
• Knowledge of the cable industry, regional communities, customers and staff.
• Proven record of delivering above expected performance from sales teams.
• Highly productive and prioritizes multiple tasks to maximize customer acquisition and retention.
• Effectively works and communicates with other workgroups.
• Facilitates a harmonious team environment.
• Recognizes the importance of quality in providing a competitive edge.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record as determined by the Company.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of a team of Direct Sales Representatives, focusing on Single Family prospecting and Multi-Dwelling Unit relationships.
• Demonstrate knowledge on pricing, product changes and service processes to provide the best customer experience.
• Be a subject matter expert on systems and tools used by the sales channel, including billing, reporting and CRM.
• Provide regular updates to Direct Sales Representatives via weekly team meetings.
• Monitor daily activities to track performance against monthly new customer targets and budgets.
• Conduct one-on-one coaching, including field ride-alongs and performance management.
• Collaborate across regions to develop new sales incentives and recognition opportunities.
• Maintain budgeted headcount, partner with recruiting to source candidates and conduct interviews.
• Develop positive relationships within local communities to enhance branding and sponsorship opportunities.
