Job summary

Astound is seeking a sales leader to oversee a team of Direct Sales Representatives in a hybrid role based in Midland, Texas. The position focuses on Single Family and Multi-Dwelling Unit relationships, driving new customer acquisitions and achieving sales targets.

You will leverage knowledge of pricing, product changes, and service processes to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Strong coaching, CRM usage, and coordination with regional teams are essential to success.

Qualifications

• College degree or high school diploma; equivalent combination of education and sales experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in management.
• Basic knowledge and aptitude of telecommunications Direct Sales or other face to face sales.
• Knowledge of the cable industry, regional communities, customers and staff.
• Proven record of delivering above expected performance from sales teams.
• Highly productive and prioritizes multiple tasks to maximize customer acquisition and retention.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of a team of Direct Sales Representatives to meet sales targets.
• Conduct field ride-alongs and coaching to improve performance.
• Provide regular updates to the team via weekly meetings.
• Collaborate with Region on new sales incentives and recognition opportunities.
• Maintain budgeted headcount and partner with Recruiting for sourcing and interviews.
• Build relationships with local communities and property managers.
