Job summary

Astound in Austin, Texas is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead a team of Direct Sales Representatives focused on engaging single-family homes and multi-dwelling units with our internet services. This hybrid role includes two in-office days per week, with flexibility to work from home or a field/office in the Austin area.

You will coach and monitor performance, stay current on pricing and product changes, and collaborate with regional peers to drive incentives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in management
• College degree or equivalent
• Telecommunications direct sales experience preferred
• Knowledge of cable/telecom industry and local communities
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of a team of Direct Sales Representatives.
• Demonstrate knowledge on pricing, product changes and service processes.
• Be subject matter expert on systems/tools: billing, reporting, CRM.
• Provide weekly updates in team meetings.
• Monitor daily activities to meet monthly sales targets.
• Conduct one-on-one coaching and field ride-alongs.
• Collaborate regionally on sales incentives and recognition.
• Maintain budgeted headcount and assist recruiting.
• Foster relationships with local communities for branding.
• Ensure professional appearance and customer interaction.
• Support residential multi-unit customers with managers/leasing agents.
• Follow safety standards including OSHA and NEC rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
