Job summary

FluxTec seeks a Regional Sales Manager for Data Center Solutions to develop and grow a defined national territory. This hands-on hunter role requires opening new accounts and managing complex opportunities from initial contact through close.

You will travel 50–70% and build relationships with data center owners, operators, and engineers, coordinating demonstrations and technical presentations while collaborating with engineering and marketing to drive deployments.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of outside sales experience selling engineered mechanical, electrical, or industrial equipment.
• Proven ability to prospect, open new accounts, and build a territory.
• Experience selling complex capital equipment with multiple technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Strong relationship-building skills with technical and executive buyers.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a territory-development strategy targeting data center owners, operators, contractors, and rental companies.
• Identify target accounts and key decision makers; lead opportunities from intro to close.
• Generate new opportunities through direct outreach, referrals, and industry events.
• Coordinate product demonstrations, technical presentations, and site visits.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of accounts, opportunities, and forecasts.
• Collaborate with leadership, engineering, operations, and marketing to support deployments.
