Job summary

FluxTec, a data-center equipment innovator, is expanding its national sales organization and seeks a Regional Sales Manager to cover a defined territory. This hands-on hunter role focuses on opening doors, building relationships, and managing opportunities from first contact to close.

You will meet data center owners, operators, and engineering teams, travel 50–70% and collaborate with leadership, engineering, and marketing to position FluxTec’s solutions and accelerate growth in a rapidly

Qualifications

• Five or more years of outside sales experience selling engineered capital equipment with multiple stakeholders.
• Proven ability to prospect, open new accounts, and build a territory.
• Strong relationship-building skills and credibility with technical and commercial decision makers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, contractors, commissioning teams, facility operators, and executives.
• Disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM habits.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a territory-development strategy focused on data center owners, operators, contractors, commissioning firms, and engineering organizations.
• Identify target accounts, projects, and the specific decision makers responsible for FluxTec equipment.
• Generate opportunities through direct outreach, referrals, and industry networking.
• Cultivate relationships and establish FluxTec as a trusted resource before, during, and after projects.
• Lead full sales process from prospecting to close, including technical evaluation and proposal.
• Maintain a robust pipeline with near-term and long-term opportunities.
• Coordinate product demonstrations and technical presentations for customers.
• Represent FluxTec at data center events and industry associations.
• Collaborate with leadership, engineering, and marketing on customer strategies.
