Job summary

nVent is seeking a technically skilled lead for Data Center Solutions to partner with customers, sales and engineering across the Central US and LATAM. You will translate real-world challenges into practical data center solutions, serving as domain authority for our data center products.

You will evaluate RFQs, prepare quotes, lead product improvements, and train customers on quoting tools while traveling about 30% and working remotely from the Central US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or applications engineering.
• English and Spanish language proficiency preferred.
• 5+ years in a technical applications role supporting Data Center product solutions.
• Strong technical background in Power and Air and Liquid Cooling Solutions.
• Understanding of Data Center Power and Cooling Architecture from UPS to rack/equipment level a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer 1st mentality.
• Ability to work 100% remotely in the central US and travel ~30% across US and Latin America.
• A valid driver’s licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a domain authority for nVent Data Center Solutions products across Central US and LATAM.
• Provide first-line product support to customers and colleagues using nVent Data Solutions.
• Evaluate customer RFQs and build technical and commercial quotations.
• Prepare compliance documents against customer specifications.
• Lead strategic projects for product improvements and cost reduction.
• Review training literature for technical accuracy including installation guides and procedures.
