Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. seeks a Regional Coding Operations Manager to guide the strategy and oversee coding workflows across Physician Services Coding Operations. The role emphasizes education, process optimization, and alignment with division leadership to meet customer needs.

The RCOM collaborates with the CCU and practice divisions, driving improvements and ensuring high-quality coding. Travel within the division and daily on-site practice engagement are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Must be CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, RHIA credential through AHIMA or CPC/CPC-H/CRC credential through AAPCs.
• Experience with Cerner and eClinicalWorks (eCW) is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 7 years professional fee coding and revenue cycle operations experience.
• Minimum 5 years health care management/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide coding and documentation improvement education to Providers.
• Assist in reviewing progress against business case expectations and operational metrics.
• Lead practice implementation and acquisition activities and projects.
• Coordinate with division leadership to ensure accurate coding processes.
• Promote Coding Operations as a service organization and maintain customer focus.
• Serve as liaison between CCU, practice management, and division leadership.
• Drive innovation, knowledge sharing and best practice identification.
