Qualifications

• Experience with Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inpatient, outpatient, and physician coding operations.
• Ensure accurate DRG, CPT, HCPCS code assignments.
• Manage coding work queues and timely completion.
• Supervise coding staff: hiring, training, scheduling, coaching.
• Conduct coding education and training sessions.
• Collaborate with Billing to resolve denials and issues.
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and payer rules.
• Foster productive, engaged team environment.
• Identify process improvements to boost efficiency.
• Maintain relationships with physicians and leadership.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
