Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Regional Coding Operations Manager to oversee Physician Services Coding Operations strategy, including practice acquisitions, provider education, and division relationship management.

The role partners with the Director of Coding Operations and leads coding initiatives across multiple practices. The position requires daily presence in physician practices with minimal overnight travel and relocation to the Fort Lauderdale area or nearby, as travel within the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; CCS/CCS-P or RHIT/RHIA or AHIMA/AAPC credential (CPC/CPC-H/CRC) is desirable.
• 7+ years professional fee coding and revenue cycle operations experience preferred.
• 5+ years healthcare management/leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide coding and documentation improvement education to providers.
• Review progress against business case expectations and operational metrics.
• Lead communication with practice staff, providers, and division leadership.
• Guide practice management and division leadership to ensure accurate and efficient coding processes.
• Collaborate with CCU and practice/division leadership to resolve coding issues.
