Job summary

BD is seeking a Clinical Leader to guide the Clinical Specialist team, shaping training standards and adoption strategies across territories. You will collaborate with Sales Leadership to align clinical priorities with commercial goals and ensure consistent execution by the team.

You will set training methodologies, develop resources, and maintain clinical credibility with hospital staff while partnering with Marketing, R&D, and Medical Affairs. Travel 25%-50% to support activities across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, or related clinical health field required; RN or RRT required.
• Advanced degree (MSN, MHA, MBA, or related) a plus but not required.
• Minimum 7–10 years of clinical experience in critical care, emergency medicine, cath lab, or related high-acuity setting; post-cardiac arrest care or neurocritical care preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of people management experience, leading clinical or field-based teams within medical device or healthcare technology.
• Prior experience as a Clinical Specialist, Clinical Liaison, or similar field clinical role strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, or R&D on cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Clinical Specialist team with clear performance expectations.
• Own hiring, onboarding, and talent development for the Clinical Specialist team.
• Set clinical strategy and standards for training, in-servicing, and implementation methodology.
• Partner with Sales Leadership to align clinical priorities with commercial goals.
• Review team- and account-level clinical engagement metrics to drive adoption.
• Represent the clinical function in cross-functional planning with Marketing, R&D, and Medical Affairs.
• Collaborate with Marketing to refine clinical training content and educational materials.
• Monitor industry guidelines and competitive clinical landscape to keep knowledge current.
• Support key account relationships with senior clinical presence when needed.
