Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company in Louisville, KY seeks a Clinical Leader to guide the Clinical Specialist team, drive clinical adoption, training, and support across the commercial organization, and own the clinical strategy for training standards and implementation.

You will partner with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Medical Affairs to translate field insights into product positioning, hire and coach staff, and manage budgets and travel to ensure nationwide coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related clinical field.
• RN or RRT certification required.
• 7–10 years clinical experience in critical care or high-acuity settings.
• 3–5 years people management in medical device or healthcare tech.
• Experience partnering with Sales, Marketing or R&D.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Clinical Specialist team with clear performance expectations.
• Own hiring, onboarding, and talent development to cover territory needs.
• Set clinical strategy and standards for training, in-servicing, and implementation.
• Partner with Sales Leadership to align clinical priorities with commercial goals.
• Review team and account metrics to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Represent clinical function in cross‑functional planning with Marketing, R&D, and Medical Affairs.
• Monitor guidelines and literature to keep knowledge current.
• Manage team budget, travel, and resource allocation.
