Job summary

Western Specialty Contractors seeks a Region Business Development Manager to drive sales growth across assigned branches. You’ll lead marketing and business development efforts, building strong local relationships and expanding into new markets.

The role requires coordinating with the National Accounts program and branch teams to meet annual objectives. Emphasis on client development, campaigns, and effective communications.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum of two years of business development experience.
• Strong relationship building and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish productive relationships with key local/regional decision makers.
• Coordinate with Western personnel to connect with client contacts.
• Participate in trade associations (e.g., Ashe, APPA, BOMA, IREM).
• Identify and network with potential new regional accounts.
• Lead expansion into new markets to support growth strategy.
• Review past campaigns to inform new initiatives and partnerships.
• Schedule and present seminars and customer events.
• Help close opportunities with branch personnel.
• Collaborate with Marketing on newsletters and email campaigns.
• Assess and validate customer needs ongoing.
• Lead solution development addressing customer needs.
• Provide sales and presentation training to staff.
• Manage and analyze CRM data.
• Assist development of National Account partners in the region.
