Job summary

Manhattan Construction Company seeks a Business Development Manager to support regional BD activities and drive strategies to win new work and maintain client relationships.

You will identify opportunities, build client networks, and coordinate with marketing to craft proposals and presentations. The role requires experience in the DFW market and a background in construction management or engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent; substitution with related experience on a one-to-one basis.
• 8 years of industry experience.
• Well-established presence and professional network within the DFW market.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue business opportunities for the firm.
• Build relationships with clients, teaming partners, and community influencers inside and outside the firm.
• Monitor industry-related market information sources.
• Gather data related to clients, competitors, markets, and corporate experience.
• Develop qualification, proposal, and presentation messaging and content with Marketing.
• Lead or assist in pursuit plans and client outreach ahead of RFPs.
