Job summary

Manhattan Construction is seeking a Business Development Manager in the Dallas area to drive regional growth by identifying opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and executing strategic pursuit plans. You will work with marketing to craft proposals and messaging, oversee pursuit content, and help manage schedules for RFP responses.

The role requires a strong network in the DFW market, excellent communication, and a record of delivering winning strategies that align with our project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 8 years of industry experience.
• Well-established presence and professional network within the DFW market.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue business opportunities for the firm.
• Build relationships with clients, teaming partners, and community influencers inside and outside the firm.
• Monitor market information and gather data related to clients, competitors, and markets.
• Develop qualification, proposal, and presentation messaging with marketing.
• Lead pursuit plans and client outreach ahead of RFP releases.
• Produce proposals, including editing and graphics; ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain scheduling and tracking systems for pursuit elements and status.
• Participate in professional and community organizations; create positive media exposure for Manhattan.
